Unit Coordination at ECU (PDC113) is a blended course that incorporates a face-to-face workshop (3 hours) and a series of self-paced, online activities (3 hours) including a task that enables participants to identify any additional professional development required to meet the key responsibilities of the role.
This course is designed to support Unit Coordinators with curriculum design, constructive alignment between teaching and assessment practices and application of the ECU quality improvement process. Following the workshop, you will gain access to the PDC113 Blackboard site, which contains activities to build upon the workshop activities and includes additional information about expectations and compliance aspects of the Unit Coordination role. Completion of this course is recommended within six months of undertaking this role at ECU. The face-to-face workshop will run several times a year during non-teaching weeks.
